Data differs from servers??

    I installed the incremental patch 1.5 to 1.6 and only succesfully joined one server all evening,and that was an EAUK one.
    ALLothers gave me data differs error.
    Any ideas guys?
    I deffo have 1.6 installed .

    If you have a 'no CD crack' installed you get those. If not, no idea :/

    Its not the no-cd, I know cos err I saw one working on a mates machine.

    I have a legal copy bought from Game on release date.
    Secret weapons addon is also a bought copy.
    More head scratching so :(

    Something's been changed then. Do you have any mods installed with BF? DC or anything? Ever install any custom skins or anything like that? It's a pretty vague (sometimes) error, can be hard to pinpoint. but by in large, it points to a wrong install

    Do a complete reinstall and see how you go. Only install Vanilla BF and the patch and see how it goes.

    Bf can be a very frustrating game at times, but this seems to be the answer to all its problems.

    Re-install worked guys,very weird though as i had no custom models etc.
    Anyways cheers for assistance.
