Samsung 120gb ultra quiet ide hdd (OEM) for €99 at pc world. I was surprised anyway as they were selling 40gb boxed ones for €80, and one helpful guy even told me to try Komplett when i was asking him a question about motherboards, even told me about the current specials. cheers to him They are also doing compaq 17"…

I got a new graphics card for 54.99 yesterday. Thought it was a fairly good deal. Haven't been able to really push it as of yet, but seems good.

Went into pcworld in Limerick last night and they still had a good number of samsung hard disk drives (80 and 120 gb) as well as a few phillips cdrw drives(€35) and artic dvd/cdrw combo drives (€65). got the phillips cd drive and it seems fine, no damage - really bare oem though, no drivers so off to do a little googling now for that. not much ram left there though compared to last week
