NewsGroups - Ace file??

    I downloaded something! off a newsgroup and it consists of one .ace file and 60 .cxx file where xx is a number from 1 to 60


    The ace file shows up as the win rar icon but when i double click it, winrar tells me the arfchive is corrupt. CAn anyone tell me the software/procedure needed to obtain my file from all of these files?

    It more than likely is exactly what it says on the tin then, i.e. corrupt

    You could try winace, but if winrar is saying there's a problem then there prolly is.

    Yup exactly right - files corrupt.

    I had checked that all files were there and they were, but file 11 was only 100kb when it should have been 10MB. Now all i have to do is find that one again - easier said than done...
