its all a bit academic now for me i'm afraid, i was expecting to get paid sometime this week, but it's not going to go through till monday now, so it's a weekend of TV and super noodles!

and to amke things worse aresenal are playing at home too dammit, and i'm not going on the pitch under those conditions!

it seems like most of the girls here are laying the smackdown on valentines day and what not saying they don't want the flowers, the chocolates the cards, but instead want computer related accessories thats fair enough i'd probably like computer related accessories also, but theres girls out there that want the fancy dinner, the flowers and what not and like all the grand romantic gestures and not so they can just boast to their mates who's boyfriend did the most, so sometimes you just have to go along with that and give em what they want.

Quiet day yesterday.

Got a free dinner(with seconds) for helping at a function my other half was singing at.

Also created a GURPS RPG character for a game I want to run.

Best Valentines day ever.

Refused to buy anything vaguely romantic, pink, or fluffy but I'm a sucker for buying gifts so I got my man a paintbrush (he wanted one, honest!)

Had a yummy dinner and I got a cookie monster beanie, yay!:D

ah there was no texts from the ex that night, nor did i indulge in any drunken phone calls to my relief, but i did she her yesterday as i needed her to sort sometime out anyway

well, i didn't think i was getting paid in time, but i managed to get it midnight friday night, so i went out saturday morning and got a bunch of nice roses from a guy by the spike for 35 quid which was ok, a nice funny card with some little paper butterlies in it that are wound up with a rubber band and come flapping out when you open the card (scared the piss out of her), a nice teddy bear from the bear factory with a little recorded message from me in him which plays when you squeeze him. you get a birht certificate and they send him a card on his first birthday too. nice bottle of champagne and some fresh strawberries and a little something from ann summers, although they are a bit pushy in there for my liking, waving vibrators in your face all the time. bit embarrassing.

and she got the dinner she wanted (chicken korma) so she was well chuffed all in all.
