Please drop the Hacker reference. To those of who delite in making things do things they were never designed for or opening up the envelope the association with "crackers" or "carckers" is upsetting .

Why write viruses ?
You can achieve as much damage with a "virtual virus" like the one asking people to delete the teddy bear icon. Look at the moble phone viruses. Most corporate networks have firewalls and AV etc. the people who get stuffed by viruses are home users.

Be creative not destructive.
eg: Addons for windows workstation (are you writing linux or Mac viruses ?) to give it server funcationality for small workgroups - DNS / DHCP server / Device driver to allow software mirroring of HDD's
Openoffice - how about a replacement for Outlook ?
Teamspeak - how about a freeware version ?

look up sourceforge - lots of stuff needs to be done.

I am looking for any irish hackers crackers or virus writers to start a virus writing group on the internet

with that type of intro the only plp your gona attract are script kiddies (((fools))), the whole idea of hacking is not and has never been about destruction, write viruses "Why" so you can cause damage to plp's computers and businesses..........Capt'n Midnight has some good points you should take on board his points..
