Well it's only started happening today.

and is a few different ways.

But my sites are not loading.

Like if i type in yahoo.com ,, it shows up... but if i type into the search box and try yo search ,, nothing loads and i get a error page. "The page cannot be displayed"

    other example.

If i got to the address bar and select a site i viste every day. It doesnt load and i get the same Error page

    Other example.

I tryed to go to skysports.com and only the top header loaded nothing else..

and as you can see. Boards.ie loads fine.

anyone nad a clue whats going on?

Unusual, try running spybot or one of those programs,
is the problem specific to one browser or does it happen in all browsers?

    What ISP are you using?

Try using mozilla or opera or another browser, to find out if your problems are with IE.

    edit:
    Mozilla
    Opera

Yes of course, they are just alternative browsers, they will not replace IE.
You can still use IE although you might not want to after you have experienced life without the dreaded IE :p

So is everything working for you now?
In order to fix the problem in IE try reinstalling it, personally I never use Internet Explorer (I use Opera) but it is the backbone for windows particularly in XP and if it's packed with spyware then it can only have adverse effects for your pc, including slowing down your internet connection, stealing your browsing habits and other personal details, and generally slowing down the operation of your PC.

I would try to get IE sorted out, if I were you.

After reviewing your other post, you obviously have a major spyware problem.

    1. Get spybot search & destroy from download.com or a site like that.
    2. Run it and follow the instructions -make sure you update it (via the search for updates button inside spybot) before you search for spyware.
    3. Use the immunize function in spybot aswell.
    4. If you don't have a firewall, then get one.
    5. Try and use another browser instead of IE in future, IE is very susceptable to spyware.
    6. Make sure you update via Windows update regularly.

If you're still having problems after all that then I'd reccommend doing a format on your hard-drive and reinstalling windows from scratch, it can seem pretty drastic but sometimes it is neccessary.

That's unusual even the cleanest computer usually throws up a few harmless cookies in the results.

Anyway I hope all goes well for you.

It's totally free, but try I donate a small bit to spybot if possible, I have donated €5 just to show myappreciation to the maker, but you don't receive any extra features.
