What's the story with mice and the like?????

What spec's are the machines we'll be using?

What you told us was that we would have 5 minutes to install our mice, and the rules say we have to use the nethouse mice.

I know we have asked this question before but you have never given us a proper answer. You end up contradicting your self or the rules.
Last time we asked you said that we COULD bring you own mice but we would have to install them during the 5mins warmup time.

THEN you say to read the rules
here's what the rules say about mice

2.01b Competitors will use the machines as specified including the installed mouse and keyboard.

So WHICH is it then? I think this point is something fairly important...
I know jethrog, sonic and overlord are also waiting for confirmation on this matter.

Ok, lets make this clear.

The CPL USA Rules state this -
2.01b Players will have the opportunity to use their own keyboard, mouse or other controlling device, provided they bring drivers for each. Players will not be permitted to install any software or hardware. All installation of controllers, keyboards, and drivers will be done by a tournament official. Modified - See local rules

The local rules state -
2.01b Competitors will use the machines as specified including the installed mouse and keyboard.

I did at one stage tell you could setup you own mouse. This was based on the CPL USA Rules. See above. The Local Rules overwrite this.

Hence you must use the keyboards and mice provided. Hence, read the rules fully. Please don't waste anymore of my time on this. I spent alot of time getting the rules officialised. Why not actually read the full thing and be professional about it (ie CPL)?

Sam: Correct, Battletop is on the same weekend
Vorosha : Good idea. Anyone at any stage can drop in the info, as long as you put it all in a nice neat envelope.
Jetrog/Podgeen : I grow tired of answering this question for you OVER and OVER again. Please, Read the Rules! I have already told you about the mice.

I will do a questions and answers session @ nethouse the weekend, and possibly on irc.
