Moving house, keeping same number.

Anyone know the score with IOL BB re moving house but keeping the same CLI as before on the same exchange. Do you have to recontract at the new address or will they just change your details on file. cheers.

go to other house

plug in phone , listen for soft dial tone

dial 199000 , write the result down ....TIP do it to any line you wish for practise.

that was the last number at that house and that line must be logged as a pass on the test database. If it is then you can move the DSL and if the number is similar then ask Eircom to move curent number to that line (give old number) to see if they will .. normally they can in an exchange area but not out of it
