Installing Xp on a self build pc

    Hey

    Can win xp pro format and get ready to use the hard drive of a brand new self build computer if i tell the bios to boot from the cd or do i need a boot disk with fdisk on it ?

    Boot from cd, and it will allow you to format. Well it will more or less format for you.

    Its quite easy, no more fdisk stuff

    tell bios to boot from cd-rom and pop in the xp disk.

    xp disc has formatting tools on it
