Bars in Dublin

Hi,

I've been living abroad for a while and I wondering what the best bars for pre-club drinks these days?

Viva's generally got a good crowd and good tunes.
Bodkins is usually good on a weekend, but you'd be better off making a night of it in Bodkins than going to most Dublin clubs IMO (especially on one of Decal's Fridays).

I'd go with Sico about the viva its a good place for a warmup place to go. plays house tunes on, down stairs is usually a diff genre, prob techno. bodkins is a deadly place to make a night out of :cool: There s also the legal eagle(formally "the bar") thats at the four courts, thats good place aswell for a warm up night, free in before 10. and drinks are cheap enough(4.00) but yea can make a good night outa there, a good crowd does come in, usually a lot are the same faces everyweek there to support there mates etc.

Ah yeah, keep an eye out for the 12Ten folks, few mates of mine. Some nice house on a Saturday to warm up on.
Also hit Studio B on a Friday if you like your DnB, another few mates of mine.

studio b = best bar in dublin. plus when it closes you can leg it up to bodkins on bolton street.

its the club thats good, but the bar plays the likes of darude and all that other old commercial rubbish

I thought she ment the bar as in the metro its self as in electric city etc.
the bar is the upstairs part is it?
