Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

PCI wireless cards

Can someone recommend me an 802.11g PCI wireless card to stick into my PC? It will be used to connect to an SMC 802.11g wireless access point. I know of problems and the like with 802.11g kit due to the standard not yet being finalised. Preferably cheaper than €50 if possible!

    Cheers

I have a netgear pci 11g on the way, and it will hopefully talk to an smc 11g barricade. 70ish euro on elara, I don't think going to England or Komplett will provide much saving. I'll let you know how it goes.

The 11g standard was standardized a while back, though some manufacturers had released their products before it was made final. Anything you buy now will fit the standard.

54 euro which near the 50 mark you wanted. SMC are good cards.

I'm quite sure all the cards support wpa with software upgrades if that's a issue. I've yet to test it on my network here.
