Has anyone been able to "Region Free" there sony dav 550??? I have read a few links that tell how to it on: www.dvdrhelp.com but they dont seem to work.....anyone any ideas/help??:confused: Thanks Darren

Daz, my old man has the dav model of the sony DVD player and although i have found a website with codes to crack it, i just cant for some reason, so i went out a bought a scott dvd player for 69 euro from power city and that plays everything, but from what i hear the sony's are the hardest to crack.....

yes.....my brother did it using the kameleon remote control and a bastardisation of two methods as outlined in www.dvdrhelp.com
