This seems essentially the exact same price as Peats but they offer both +R and -R.
Two spindles of 25 will cost you 59.90

you know if they're printed or shiny on top?

yea, it's silver on top, why are you asking btw? are they bad?

and it's a 50 pack, no cases, and they too offer -R and +R

chabsey, are you talking about this ?

    http://www.peats.com/cgi-bin/shop/db.cgi?view=1&id=7237&type=6&sid=608882x0

    they cost 40 each

just i presume it's the same as with cdrs - they're much more likely to flake/crack/peel on the top causing you to lose the data.

Good point. I never buy +R, hence my mistake. Same price as the -Rs though, but silver tops (without anything printed on it) makes me hesitant. However, it's always a good sign when prices are dropping.
It used to be 50 discs for 80 quid in Maplin!

I always buy the silver ones and I never had any problems with them(3 knocks on the wood)
