Terrestrial receiver not the same as a tv tuner?

hey! I'm looking at this tv card, called, AverMedia Digital Terrestrial Receiver card i was wondering is that the same as normal TV Tuner? that "digital" gives me doubts

It sounds like a Freeview tuner (yes digital) which wont be much use to you unless you live in digital-enabled areas of the UK.
