    Firstly if you want to play multiplayer gaming you will need all the latest patch!

    The original battlefield patch can be found here.

    ftp://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/patches/battlefield_1942_patch_v1.6.19.exe

    But I advise playing the singleplayer through so as to know how to play.

    well i recomend just getting the patch and also the all seeing eye to find servers and get stuck into multiplayer as the bots are crap but online its a great game
