Not sure if this is the right place, but im involved in a production of west side story, and i was just wondering if you guys could design a poster?

Not really OwenW, i was thinking more along the lines of a serious, original poster

Also any advice on somewhere else i could post this might be appreciated, seeing as ye wont take this seriously

Could we get a few photos? Even if they were from rehearsals etc. They would probably look good on a poster.

I take it you don't want the red writing/ladders on the poster. Had you anything in mind about it?

Are you looking for a full size poster that will be hung up around Dublin or just a small handout sort of one?

Seriously though, give us something more to go with. Like some members of the cast, where it's being held etc. etc.

Ok, main charaters are played by:

Jeff O' Loughlin
Tara Walsh
Aonghus Collins
Paul Cauldwell

(in that order)

I cant actually get pictures for you, because we need to have posters by the next rehersal

It's on in St. Michaels Theatre, on the 6-8th of may (i think)

It'll be done in several sizes, and probably on the front of the programme

Ok without the pictures its going to be hard to achieve a colourful/exciting poster.

My first thoughts were to have a black background with a silhouette of a dancer in white with red text in front of it.

Is this thing a tragedy?
Have you any ideas?

I liked the silloute idea but against a sky scraper skyline. So here's my idea for it. It's two colours which is cheaper to print. Went for blue because all the other posters are red and I liked it. Who's directing/producing? It'd be nice to include a Directed by etc. somewhere.

Are you sure it's Jeff O loughlin and not Jeff O'Loughlin?

I've presumed it's the latter in the above.
