Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

some of teh stories going around about him, wearing Irish jerseys to school in london etc make that an argument thats going nowhere. He feels irish, turned down english trials? and is weraing the jersey he wants to. DOn't degenerate this into a dissing match.

Im not going to get involved in the "english" Irish man debates. We cant expect to love players like Ray Houghton "Scottish" or John Aldrige and then level this plastic paddy crap at the other players we dont like.

I for one jumped about as much as anyone when Houghton lobbed Pagliuca and he was as Irish as Shamrocks and Guinness for me at that second

He has the right to play for Ireland through Parents I believe, at least he's willing to play not like a Cork Yob who I won't mention.

Gary Breen has two Irish parents and is just as Irish as the rest. Martin Keown was born in England and has 2 Irish parents, I think Breen has more of a right to play for Ireland than Keown has for England but saying that the both do.

I'm not arguing, I'd just like to know the nature of his comment. It seems he is making some sort of personal comment about me in an insulting manner. I'd just like him to clarify this so I don't mistakenly acuse him of personal abuse.

calling Roque Junior a weak link is idiocy.
He was the best CB in the world cup, had played well for brazil for the last 3 years and the only bad patch in his whole milan journey was his loan in leeds.
The only reasoon he didnt proform for leeds IMHO is that he couldn't talk to the team because he speaks no english, and no one on the team speaks Portugeese or Italian!

I'm sure he will play well.

I agree about the holland quote.
The greatest team never to win a WC was the hungerian team on the 50's/60's, hands down.
