Clicksilver down again ?

Having to make a few tries to connect from time to time is one thing, but the unhappy knack of Clicksilver going down is beginning to irritate......... on dialup atm and it crawling........... mutter mutter........

I got an email from utv saying the system would be down from 12:00 till 4 or 5am i'm pretty sure it was for the 19th Feb. It was to do with Eircon doing some stuff on the network.....

It seemed to be down for me around 1.30 or so as well. When did you get that email?

Dear Customer

We have been notified of a planned engineering works that will effect all
ClickSilver customers.

Maintenance schedule as follows:

Stage one.
Planned start: Wednesday 18/02/2004 00:00 Planned finish: Wednesday
18/02/2004 04:00

Stage two.
Planned start: Thursday 19/02/2004 00:00 Planned finish: Thursday
19/02/2004 04:00

Got another email re. work for early Friday:-

"This is to notify you that we will be carrying out an engineering upgrade that will affect all ClickSilver customers.

Maintenance schedule as follows:

Planned start: Friday 20/02/2004 07:00 Planned finish: Friday 20/02/2004 08:00 Expected downtime: less than 5 minute

During this timeframe you may notice a loss of connection but you will be able to reconnect straight away. Disruption is not expected to last the entire duration of the maintenance schedule."

It is good that at least the customers are being informed of planned works..
