Eircom are also suppose to send all existing iStream users a letter notifying of the option to change.

Yeah I got the letter..

The new "FREE" upgrade they are offering is 8gb a month dl allowance and a smaller contention of 24:1. You basically continue to pay what you are at the moment, as an option though you can downgrade to 39.99 and continue with the same service they currently supply.. ie 4gb download allowance and a higher contention ratio I think its 48:1 or there abouts.

I'm happy with this upgrade idea as I've always got this horrible thought in the back of my mind that im going to get charged for going over my cap.:D
