PC Game Loading Error

    I Have recently got a new Computer (second Hand ) and its breaking my heart!

    I have tried to install a game, it installs but when trying to run, the screen goes black but then brings me back to the desktop! and the games does not run.

    I have updated the Driver and Installed DirectX9 but no luck !


    Any ideas???????

    Please Help

    Need more details.

    What are your PC Specs? What game is it? etc. Sounds like your graphics card mightn't be up to scratch but it could be anything...

    Games : Shogun Total War
    Black and White

    Specs : 597 Mhz
    512 MB of Ram

    Any other Questions

    Also it's a Driver from 2000

    Anything else ?

    Run DXDIAG from the run dialog box & see if it recogises your vid card.

    You havent mentioned your graphics card what is it?

    Is that the proper info?

    I think I know why the game aint running that card you got is very old & slow, that might be the reason,

    have you tried running any other games with sucess...

    yea
    it was called Divine Divinity a RPG
    it loaded up but by God it was slow so slow
