for some reason it wont save the cd key which means it wont let me join multi player games . what type of world will we live in when there is no world ?

Create a text file in the directory baseq3 called "q3key.txt" with the following information in it:

****************// generated by quake, do not modify
// Do not give this file to ANYONE.
// id Software and Activision will NOT ask you to send this file to them.

Now those *****'s = your cdkey number.. once you have those in, save the file, and delete the *.txt bit so it should just be called "q3key" now if youve done that.. bob SHOULD be your uncle and fanny SHOULD be your aunt..
