Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

scrappy finish from scholes then an excellent header from Smith. Brown got knocked out of the way.

Nothing too embarrasing about not beating Leeds. Leeds always try extra hard against Utd because of the great rivallry between the two sides. Utd should have won though, had plenty of chances. Bout time brown was dropped, you shouldn't get pushed around so easy by someone like Alan Smith.

Two more points dropped at home is not Good .I havn,t seen the goals but Utd are certainly struggling in defence at the moment in contrast to the Gunners who can go to Stamford Bridge and win at a canter.

Have you considered taking up a career in bookmaking in manchester? Youd fit right in with the other shortsighted fools there.

Still plenty of time to go. An arsenal loss and utd beating arsenal at highbury and its open season.

If the arsenal continue their run though it will be tough for the moaners to get back into it, not impossible though.

Bad result. United are getting very careless this season IMO. :(

United were 8 points behind at this stage last season. I know, it was last season but it shows that it is possible. Things are very bleak though. But you'd never know, now that the Champions League is back and Arsenal could drop points. We'll just have to see...

good point. i'll be praying arsenal do well in the champs league and fa cup because it will effect their league run in. if arsenal go out in this round the league is over.

still think utd have a chance with that game agaisnt arsenal being the decider. arsenal came to old trafford and beat us when they won the league, we'll be looking for revenge and im sure Ruud will be well up for it.

I've just saw the highlights of this game. Why wasn't Saha playing? I mean fair enough the Champions League is on next week and I'm sure he'll start in that but hes already had a break lately with missing the FA Cup and Utd needed someone clinical up front because lets face it Ruud had an off day. He wasn't even on the bench I don't think.

Silvestre going off injured is worrying. I think Keane will have to go to centre back now because I wouldn't be too confident of a centre-back pairing of Brown and O'Shea. I think Keane and O'Shea would be a good partnership. That said, it didn't appear Leeds had much chances but I still thought Brown should have dealt better with Domi's cross for Smith's goal.

Utd were just unlucky today, missed some sitters (Van Nistelrooy), hit the woodwork (Giggs) and had an effort cleared off the line (Silvestre).

The Saha question still bugs me but its good to see Ole Solskjaer coming off the bench after so long out :)

    Saha was "carrying a knock"

They had several chances, The Van Nist chance where he blasted over in the six yard box, 10/10 he would have buried that on another day.
Utd have been conceding goals in the air of late which they once had no problem with.

Funnily enough, I think Utd played far better than they did last week against Man City. Leeds only had about 2 chances throughout the game, but the difference is that they took them.

Man Utd on the other hand missed a hatful. On another day, they could have scored 6, and everybody would be sitting here saying "What a great performance". If I was a Utd fan, I'd actually be more optimistic about that performance than the week before's, as the team looked far more solid.

    Funny old game...

Utd had 24 goal attempts in the match. I don't know how many of those were on target, but you'd expect them to score more than once with that many chances
