XP and Internet files

I'm relatively new to XP and I've just encountered something. When using 98, any files I downloaded from the internet would be stored in the Temporary Internet Files folder and I could open/cut/copy these files whenever I wanted.

With XP, I can't seem to find anything like that. Is it there? How do I access internet files as files (i.e. being able to copy them) rather than just opening them from IE?

open my computer, go to c:\documents and settings\your username\local settings\temporary internet files

you'll prolly need to turn 'show hidden files' on.

    right click IE-properties-general-settings-view files

will get you to the temp internet files without having to view all hidden files.
