    I'm thinking of getting one of these 2nd hand, any comments?

    One I have heard is that the back of it looks like a Mazda

    I'd take a 3 Series Coupé over one any day. The reviews of them weren't great when they were launched. I'm not sure what it is but there's something about the styling that makes it look cheap.

    Drove one of these before I bought the 328ci. - You cant see out the back window!
    For a Merc they are cheap but suffer from not up to merc standard build quality.
    Not a bad looking car tho. 318ti a way better car.

    took one out for a test drive just for a laugh to see what its like.

    Not too bad, but it is a bit girlie but nice engine

    Incidently I took it for a 20 minute test drive and when we got back to the garage I said to the salesman, "yeah not bad, but I want to take it for a longer drive" and he was shocked, he said "why do you need a longer test drive?" "Cause its like 30k a**hole" Why do salesmen think 20 - 30 minutes of a TD is enough, I never buy a car unless i drive it for the weekend, what about you?

    If you're gonna spend 30 grand on a midlife crisis car, sell the missus or something and get another 12-odd grand and get yourself an RX-8 dammit!
