Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Anyone see this game?
Munich were all over Madrid and should have won comfortably. Madrid hadn't one decent chance (goal included).

And that was some boo-boo by Kahn! It gives Madrid a huge edge in the tie now as well.

Munich should have easily won the game 2-0 but alas Kahn's blunder could prove to be very very costly hen the return leg comes about.

if you show respect to Madrid they will destroy you. They do not like teams coming at them or putting them under pressure.

Bayern should have won that match but shows what a poor side they are! If you cant score a goal against the Real defence which was basically 3 men at the back then there isnt a chance in hell of them scoring in the bernabeau.

Kahn's mistake was typical poor luck of german sides. He was training for ages for that match and said he was as fit as he had ever been. The spanish media took great pleasure in his misfortune as he is not liked after he withdrew from Real's (100 year?) celebration with less than 10 hours notice!!

The goal scored by 1 Roberto Carlos a man which many germans probably felt should have been sent off HAHAHAHAHHA

I took great delight in waching REAL getting an equaliser

Real only played football for a few minutes and showed that they are one of the best sides in the Champions league ! Real defintely play the best football
