The good folks over The Digital Hub are running a competion called Dare to be Digital and have asked us to link to this competition.

"Game enthusiasts in Irish third-level institutions will have the chance to turn their love of games into a possible career thanks to a new competition, Dare to be Digital Ireland.

The competition, which is being run in Ireland by The Digital Hub in conjunction with Diageo Ireland, Enterprise Ireland and the IDA Ireland, will provide student teams with the opportunity of developing their own games and presenting them to leading figures in the Irish and British gaming sector. "

The winning team gets to spend 10 weeks in lovely Scotland (June 28th to September 3rd) and the chance to compete for £5000 sterling in prizes.
