Is this possible? Does it cost much? A friend seems to have cracked his laptop screen and its not really useable. Is it possible to have these fixed and does anyone know where?

i dunno of 3rd party repair companies, i'm sure they exist. how bad is it?
typically, you bring it back to manufactuer and they charge a huge amount
