a poem i wrote when i was 12

I was infatuated with this girl and wrote this one night when i was 12


We loved all night we lived all day,
You left and took my hope away
i couldn't sleep
i couldn't feel
i wandered lonely through life drawn fields
wondering

of what went wrong

you loved of him and not of I
accursed words i start to cry
with head in hand and mind in hell
maybe
it might be just as well
that i watched you
loved from afar
inside my head you left
outside you never were

Same here. I don't know why that is exactly. Life is very proportioned I feel - there's only so much you can do and you have to divide it up. Time is very limited.

i kinda thought that too, about only getting creative inspiration when i'm depressed but lately (how strange is this?) i'm quite content and the stuff i''m writing tends to be inspired by the polar opposite of that trend of emotion. i dunno, i listen to invigorating music by myself and i get this huge, colossal urge to put pen to paper, or digit to keyboard as the case may be... but hey, maybe i've just actually started on the next part of life, the "adult" stage... eek, i don't wanna be a growd up!! i'm still a kid!!!
the material is decent, usually, and not altogether as negative (notice how i didn't say "positive"), and now for the big one, i'm writing about stuff that isn't all about me!!

ur... enuf spiel... back to the grind...
