Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So what, we aren't allowed to post about things unless we have personal experience with them?
Would we have to post a photo of ourselves with the object and today's paper to satisfy you ?
We're not allowed think that something is a good product or is it possible that we could think a product looks good based on it's design & specification.
Generally, dimensions are not the baliwick of the PR department.

Or are you being contrary, argumentative and a troll just for the hell of it?

"How is it excellent then, based on their PR?"

You argue like a 13 year old girl.
    Grow up.

me wants one,in the mean time Sleipnir and bazH can fight over it

Sleipnir falls prey to Baz's trolls.

But he does have a point. The specs look good allright, but without using it for an extended period of time, how can you tell how excellent it is? It probably is excellent but you just can't really tell that much from the manufacturers website. It's when the reviews start to come out that we'll get a good impartial opinion on it.

well obviously you can't say unequivocally that

"Yes, this thing is the best"

Should we all start adding disclaimers to the end of conversations (typed or spoken)
"What I have said just now is based on my own opinion and is not, in anyway representative of the opinions on my family, country, race, religion or human beings in general.

So we can't see something and say, "that looks pretty cool, I want one" without testing it first.

It was just a stupid, worthless & pointless troll.

I know, but he does kinda have a point. You're better off ignoring baz. Thats what most ppl have found.

I`ll stand by my original comments, I have seen a lot of "excellent little doodahs" pass my eyes before. My argument was that the poster is claiming its excellence based purely on the manufacturers PR.

Take a look at http://www.archos.com/ some excellent little doodahs there, until you use them :) (Gmini220)

Still upset about over my shedserver(tm), daveJAM ;)

BazH, I was thinking of getting one. Whats the problem with them ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,987 ✭✭✭✭zAbbo

The display is quite poor imo, and it only supports mp3 and wma. Doesnt have optical in and out. The power button needs to be dug at to respond and the general controls arent great. The supplied ear phones arent of high standard(even tho they are Sennheiser )
