    Can somegive me some commands to enable high sound quality in quakeworld?, now that i've done anyway with my p166 i'd like some decent sound smile.gif

    Oooh, I've toiled over this one for ages frown.gif
    The command line switch for the original Quake was -sspeed 44000 (or something)... but it didn't work with QW, so I've got no idea how it's done or if it's even possible.
    I asked a few peeps at the time aswell, but nobody knew.

    /me wonders has anyone found a way since.

    i put -primarysound into the command line now that i have a sound blaster thatseemed to help. I currently have these commands in my config. Should i remove loadas8bit or mixahead? thnks for the reply Dead{o}Santa smile.gif

    So did -primarysound sort it? (44Khz sound?)

    if you want high sound quality, you just never neglect to actually MEAN your gl's and your gg's, any sound quaker can tell a sneaky or false gl LIKE LIGHTNING

    Putting in primarysound into the cmd line and taking out...

    loadas8bit 1
    _snd_mixahead .14

    ...improved sound quality a bit, i wouldnt' call it high quality but it's alrite.

    Yeah, I think I get what you mean...
    Less of the playing-quake-from-under-a-wet-carpet muffled quality.
