Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shels, the works this season JB with 30 gaols to boot

I'd say boh's and shelbourne battling it out for topspot...
I'd like to say Waterford united up there too, but alan reilly is going to be a massive, massive loss.
I'd say Cork will win the inter-toto spot, maybe with some competition from waterford.

I believe he's only there for a few months on a loan period with the option of signing him permanently?

Who would have thought when he was running rings around us in PE in school he'd end up playing for Crewe... wait, all we played was fucking badminton and gaylic

Ah no in fairness in 6th year we got to play the astro turf league and in 5th year we could play soccer if we chose to.
Once fat head stopped taking us for P.E. it was grand.

as far as i know he didnt want to leave his job in ireland, but now ive heard he wants to stay in england. (mates sister is goin out wit him if u's are wondering.)

any ways it will reflect good on us (Bray Wanderers) if he does go that'll be two strikers in two years worthy of making it at a better level.

also if glen crowe (the red traveller) got an ireland call up then i think Jason Byrne should also be entitled to one. i mean who better to partner keane than his own cousin.

    ???

Oh , you mean amateur football supporters?

Well i support both a LOI team, and a Premiership team.

But your idea you are only a true footie supporter if you support your 'local' team is bull! i have no time for small minded xenophobes.

On the positve side, i'm confidant Shel's will give a good title defense this year.

P.S. I read in the Sunday papers that Uefa may stop the irish teams from competing in Europe, if they havent qualified for the appropiate licence?

Anyone hear anything more about that?

    X

hey, i thought this was about supporters of true soccer.

obviously not if youre talking about irish footie.

by the way, whats a true soccer supporter?
can you give me a definition so i can see if i fit into your catagory?

Well I think he means LOI teams and since I have not got a local LOI team I suppose I cannot be a True footy fan, never mind that I go to most Ireland games I can get to regardless of opposition and have been to see the team I support quite a few times (at great personal expense) and have created a couple more fans of the team I support (again at great personal expense :)).

It's obvious - if your local club didn't take a DNA swab off you at birth you have no right to speak about football. I am in awe of these True Soccer Supporters (tm) who go to watch amateurs and semi-pros play in shite conditions, in crap grounds, watching a standard of football charitably described as poor, week after week.

my local team is spurs, and while I go and watch them now and again I dont support them..

does that mean Im not a true soccer supporter?
