Windows xp problem

Strange one, i cant figure it out: When i pres ctrl + alt + delete i dont get the task manager, i just get the cpu usage and cpu usage history screen. This means i cant see the task manager or processes etc. Any ideas.

is there no menu up above the cpu history.

Can you see the tabs ?
What happens if you double click on the larger pane of cpu history ?

i double clicked the larger window it sorted.

Went back into it and it was the same.

Doule clicked it again and restarted like that and now its sorted.
