    Hi,

I am just wondering what happens to all the people who have Broadband and are in contracts with Eircom and IOL etc, do the prices for them drop as they are released or is it just new people ordering which get this?

Sorry if this has been asked already

    Cheers

    :)

"Don’t worry if you are already an IOL Broadband/Esat BT Advantage/Advantage PLUS customer. We will be in contact with you to tell you in detail about the new Broadband rates and better savings which you will be making"

From IOL. Believe it's the same with Eircom too...

If you have signed up you can either upgrade or downgrade whichever you want.

Existing UTV Clicksilver customers can change to either of the new packages (Clicksilver or Clicksilver Plus) by logging into their online billing account. The changes will take effect for existing customers on the 1st of April who decide to change their tariff.

However do note that the present intention on UTV's part appears to be that unless you opt for a new package which involveds signing up for a further 12 months you will be left on your existing package which in the new environment is very expensive.
