    I'm amazed that only one person mentioned Eric Adams. His take on Nessum Dorma must be one of the greatest metal vocal performances of all time.

    he may not have been rock but FRANK SINATRA had one hell of a voice. Absolutely and everybody likes his stuff no matter what type of musis your usually into.

    as for rock singers I would have to say CHRIS CORNELL and EDDIE VEDDER. The deep voice sounds real good and all types of songs whether its big rock anthem or a slower ballad type song.

    I think they are the best anyway.To be a truely great vocalist you have to be able to sing all types of songs not just rock songs.
