    The only people that have had a seat paid for are those in first class / enterprise class.

    Everyone else (short of fair evaders) has had their **travel** paid for. Irish Rail have by-laws designating certain certain seating to be given priority to certain classes of people.

    I resent this comment. Just because you can't see a physical disability or ailment, doesn't mean their isn't one. What if someone, has an injured leg or back (but it isn't obvious to you) and need to sit?

    If it isn't obvious to me then it won't be obvious to anyone else

    However if someone like that gets on the train and asks me for my seat I will give it to them
