    LucasArts has decided to stop production on Sam & Max [LucasArts Press release]

    "After careful evaluation of current market place realities and underlying economic considerations, we've decided that this was not the appropriate time to launch a graphic adventure on the PC" says Mike Nelson, Acting General Manager and VP of Finance and Operations. There is currently no plan to reduce staff.

    AND full throttle 2 ? - Didn't even know about full throttle 2, and already telling me cancelled.

    Rum would be a better match for a Caribbean set game... !
    FT2 didnt sound too good (loadsa arcade elements), but this did. :(

    Man, I loved Sam and Max... But a sequal now!?
    What is it, 10 years later?

    I've never honestly had any hopes for the game, and I'd rather it cancelled than a stinker of a game churned out. Incidentally (And Ironically), I've found my old copy of Day Of The Tentacle! Oldschool!!!

    Perhaps I should've left the '10 years after' thing out of it, but I seriously think that sequels aren't a good thing in general. And a sequel to Sam and Max could never live up to our fond memories or such a great game.

    Sam n Max is like the StarWars name though, It could sell based on that.

    Plus Max has appeared in countless games (Starwars games mostly).

    Sucks they are cancelling this.

    Heh, I just completed Day of the Tentacle last night, so good, especially if you use the filters in ScummVM
