PC running slow

Any suggestions? My PC is running very slowly,the cpu usage is 100% in Windows Task manager with the file CCAPP.EXE. I am using Norton security,is it to do with this? Thanks in advance.

yes it`s a part of nortons. basically if i was you i`d get rid of nortons and get either the free or paid version of AVG at http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php . its as good if not better than nortons and it`s not a resource hog . a few other free tools you could use are Spywareblaster from http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
don`t forget to read down to the bottom of the page as there are two other files you may need. also Adaware
from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
