Yeah, we were well on form yesterday. Cavan played as a team rather than individuals yesterday and that is what got us the result in the end. If we play like that again we will win Ulster, I have no doubts. And to think we were missing Dermott McCabe, Peter Reilly and Gerald Pierson!!

I am not being funny here Porn, but who were Armagh missing? That is a serious question as I have not seen the team listing at all. If that was a strong Armagh team it is a very good result, but I still think if they met in the championship Cavan would be beaten fairly well. Then again what do I know, I think Dublin are going to do well every year, I was even right once or twice, but the last time was almost a decade ago now!!!!!!

    P. Hearty, P. Watters, F. Bellew, K. McElvanna, K. Hughes, T. McEntee, B. Shannon, J. Toal, P McGrane, P McKeever, K McGeeney, O McConville, S McDonnell, R Clarke, O Gaughran.

Subs: E McNulty for McGeeney, D Marsden for McDonnell, P. Loughran for Shannon, JP Donnelly for Hughes, R Mallon for Gaughran.

Now that isn't a bad team. And tbh, if Cavan played like that again they are capable of winning anything. And that is a fact.

didnt see the game but infairness any cavan team that can beat an armagh team like that deserve respect...however, the real problem is getting cavan to play like that in the All Ireland.

True, I think our main problem is the players trying to get themselves into the headlines by playing as individuals rather than a team. It has been a problem since 1997. The players have high opinions about themselves. Especially the likes of McCabe, Larry Reilly, Jason Reilly and Anthony Forde.

Yesterday they were passing the ball around so much that Armagh didn't know where they were. Jason Reilly was catching every ball that came near him, Larry Reilly was making use of the ball.

The players that really impressed me were the new comers, Trevor Crowe, Eion Elliott, Karl Crotty, Ciaran McGovern and Andy Coleman. They were all superb. My man of the match would have to be "Handball" Paul Brady though. He didn't put a foot wrong.

Guess that means Laois have no real opposition...

Well was at the Mayo match.

Who in the love of God put Longford in Div1?? They were pants, actually they were worse, they were shorts! :D

Stood in the cold, thought my nads would freeze and fall off.

Mayo were ok, forwards were dangerous or as dangerous as Mayo forwards can be.

Austin O'Malley scored another 6 points (could be seven not sure), Billy Padden got 3, they defence is flying at the moment.
Only week areas will be the midfield.

So that is it really, a crap match all in all.

Also again a very poor referee, been at 2 matches this season and both matches had poor refs. Some stupid frees given against both teams and some poor tackles and off the ball not punished
