    Hi,

I've to send a CD with some software over to America. I want to know that someone received the letter (Signed for it and so on). Is this a service I get through the regular post or do I goto the likes of DHL and UPS.

Its just a single CD case with about 4 pages of text.

I wouldn't rely on An Post, that's for sure. We sent some stuff to Australia, supposedly trackable on the internet.

When it went AWOL, rang An Post and the gombeens said it's only trackable in Ireland and the UK. Even rang the post office in Australia and they couldn't do anything.

DHL/UPS/Fed Ex are more expensive, but at least you are not dealing with incompetence.
