Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was looking at the Abit mother boards and they have onboard sound which supports 5.1 or 6.1 speakers. Is this the same as an audigy sound card? I mean if I was to get a new motherboard what would be the best option for really good sound quality? Get a seperate sound card or is the Abit motherboard still good?

    Hertz

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

I have one of the latest Abit motherboards with on-board sound. The on-board sound is very, very good for on-board sound, but my Audigy2 soundcard beats it hands down. When I bought the mobo, I did so with the idea of selling the Augigy2 to make my upgrade less expensive. That didn't work out so ;)

If you want good sound, stick to the on-board. If you want excellent sound, get an Audigy2 or the new ZS version
