Jimeatsthings is often busy so be patient.
There's no events planned for a while so you aren't missing out or aything.

If you haven't been scheduled for acceptance already there is a 'trial by fire' rule of thumb. This means play on viet-navan. Chalk up a few hours or so.

Do well, get good kills and demonstrate ability. You don't have to be god or anything.
The lads obviously like teamwork, communication and general good play.
Have a laugh and play with us, [TiG] or not.

I saw you one night, you had the funk. Ideas, kill-skill and character.

What we're really looking for in players now (apart from ability) is to see you regulary on Navan or Cavan. Some of our first members seem to have stopped playing altogether and aren't bothering their arses.

Vietnavan's my new favourite server so, I haven't played on an Irish server regulary since the CS beta days.

I'm writing this here but will start a new thread if it warrants it.

I would like to join TIG but only get a chance to go online betwen six and sevenish and maybe some days after 10. I assume this is not enough especialy if you need bodies for a clan match however if there was a part time element to the clan i.e. TIG FCA where people in my situation could join in for training and general mayhem I would join up and do my bit for the country.

p.s. although I'm on 56k dialup with iol at night my ping can vary from 140 to 1023 and needless to say when ping starts rising at night even my handle Cannon Fodder dosn't do me justice.

Tbh if you can only play in between those hours a clan life wouldn't really suit you. If you overly impress some of us if we see you online we might consider it, but otherwise no. All the clan matches we have played have started around 8 or 9.

Yeah but stick around Viet-Navan, you have some skills and you'd benefit from some of the clever ideas often employed by the likes of El Bootarino and jon_smoke(?).

I had ping problems with my ISP when I started and it is a real encouragement to fight clever rather than hope lag doesn't kill you up close. If all you can do is distract and hamper enemy efforts about the map it is better than dying on the frontline for lag.

Whats wired? Are you a lady and offering extras to get into TIG?

Most nights from the time Den ends on net2 to till bedtime for little youngsters on here.

Use ASE to check the server add it to your favorites and monitor it from 6ish onwards.
