If you're renting a room in a house for 300 euro a month for 6 months are you entitled to claim tax back on the rent paid and if so what per cent ?

If you are paying income tax / PAYE you are entitled to a tax credit of a few hundred euros per year. Complete form Rent1 from www.revenue.ie
