Two hard drives

    I what to run two hard drives one is serial ata and the other ribbon. My problem is my ata is my main drive but when I install second drive it takes over , I have set one master and one salve, both have win 2000 loaded on them .

    did you do the jumper setting on both hard drivers?

    Somewhere in the Bios Setup Screen you will see an option to boot either
    IDE (ribbon) first or S-ATA (serial)
    You might have to look around a bit to find it
    Just select IDE and save and exit

    P.S. most bios screens are entered by pressing the 'delete' key before the computer goes beeb, some are F1, some Shift or Ctrl +F1, some F2
