If you can lay your hands on it....a song By Blink called "Happy Day" It's from their album "A Map Of The Universe By Blink" Great album :) I'll have a look and see if there is anywhere you can find it on the net. Their home page is www.irishblink.com

    Failing that....

"Play That Funky Music" by Wild Cherry!! :D

Run a search for "hippie shake" by K3.. Dutch pop music at its finest. It will make you smile, I promise.

The 59th Street Bridge Song (feelin' Groovy) - Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel.
    Lyrics:

Slow down, you move too fast.
You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy.

    Hello lamppost, What cha knowing?
I've come to watch your flowers growing.
Ain't cha got no rhymes for me?
    Doot-in' doo-doo, Feelin' groovy.

Got no deeds to do, No promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Let the morning time drop all its petals on me.
Life, I love you, All is groovy.

Always perks me up a bit.

hahaha! omg cant believe someone else here knows about K3.... christ thats insane! theyre actually belgian rather than dutch, but its mainly dutch language stuff... god theyre funny... check out "verliefd" [in love"] - funny euro pop at its funniest!

as for cheering up, and remaining in belgium, since belgians are remarkably cheerful, try dEUS "little arithmetics" - its on "in a bar under the sea" which is a great album. it would make the hardest of hearts smile, and mine is pretty hard.
