Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Celtic enlist for Champions World Series

With the SPL title virtually assured, Celtic will take on Europe’s elite in the glamorous Champions World Series pre-season tournament in North America this summer.

The Scottish champions will be joined at the tournament by Premiership giants Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea and are scheduled to play all three English clubs.

The Bhoys will certainly be gunning for revenge against United - last summer Alex Ferguson’s team beat the Hoops 4-0 in a pre-season friendly in Seattle.

Bayern Munich are also taking part, as well as reigning Champions League holders AC Milan and fellow Italians Roma. Organisers are confident of adding Porto to the line-up and are looking at bringing in some teams from South America as well.

All the matches will be broadcast live across the US - where soccer has a huge TV audience - and the Glasgow club are scheduled to play four games in eight days.

The tournament opens with the meeting of Celtic and Chelski at the Seahawks Stadium in Seattle on Saturday July 24.

Two days later, the Bhoys face Liverpool at Rentschler Field, East Hartford, Connecticut.

On Wednesday July 28, Manchester United provide the opposition at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

The Celts’ final game in the provisional schedule is against Roma in Toronto’s SkyDome on Saturday July 31. Celtic will be based in Seattle and Providence, near Boston, during the 13-day trip which starts on July 19.
Celtic will show yis all what there made of!;)

Couple of us thinking of going over to that. Few nights in Philly and a few more in NYC.
