    From the BBC site :

    O'Connell out of Irish team

Irish lock Paul O'Connell has been forced to pull out of the side to face Italy in the RSB Six Nations.
The Munster man, who captained Ireland in the championship opener against France, sustained a rib injury during a training session.

O'Connell will be replaced by Donncha O'Callaghan who missed the win over England because of a knee injury.

Ulster second row Gary Longwell has been called on to the replacements' bench for Saturday's game in Dublin.

Well at least it's just this game he is out for!

We will need him back for the scotland game, they are going to be up for it so they don't get the wooden spoon!

Big loss, but will be interesting to see how DOC and MOK get on together in the second row.

Is this there first start together??

Not a huge blow as the Italian second row is nowhere near as effective as its front row. He'll be back for the Triple Crown decider hopefully.

Shame POC is out but on the bright side a head to head between DOC and MOK for a spot in the scotland game just be quiet the show.
