Look at the start of the thing! It's so laced with propoganda. "transformation of the war economy".

Was there not a war economy in the North. (hardly propoganda)

What do you mean by "actual" policys Dave. IMO theres "policies" on everything from CAP reform to womens righs, social inclusion, justice reform , economy.....programme for government etc etc .

I dont see where you would like if Sf provided more information. ie i dont see the gaps.

I agree with Gearoid. Its not feasible for the IRA to disband. SF have brought the hardliners as far as they can without much in return (if anything). Pushing for disbandment at the mo. could result in a split which would be much worse from the controlled organisation that the IRA have at the mo.

Dont understand what you mean when you say that they haven't got anything in return, as far as I'm concerned they dont deserve anything in return. They're sectarian bigots that waged a war on Protestants and anyone who disagreed with them. They're just a mafia hiding behind the pretense of a cause, I consider myself a republican but I don't like saying that too much because SF have turned into a dirty word. And I don't believe for a minute that they're socialists either, during the 70's and 80's they were shooting members of the Workers Party while the security forces turned a blind eye. And if anyone doesn't believe that you check SF papers from that era, Headlines such as 'PIRA curb communism in Ireland' (these were papers sold in America)

De-militarisation, police force reforms, investigations into collusion, demitartisation, loyalist cease-fires, an operating democratic governement.......

As for the rest of it ............ its been answered here before.

(The workers party stuff I cant comment on)

Are you asserting that democratic negotiations, compromise and peaceful dialog arent the way forward, or are you saying that you cant look past previous IRA campaigns to see Sinn Feins good record at the table?

They're sectarian bigots that waged a war on Protestants and anyone who disagreed with them.
Thats not entirely acurate. The IRA in theory is not anti prodestant and in fact it has had many prodestant members. The IRA is not known for indiscriminant attacks on Prodestant civilians. However I grant that many members of the IRA would bold a sectarian attitude.

Republican doesnt mean Sinn Fein and it is disappointing that it has become such a negative term. I am a republican and make no appologies for it. I dont vote SF.

Well they are socialists. There policies are definitly socialist. Such headlines Im sure would have helped IRA PR at a time when they needed it
