mod for stargate board

perhaps the stargate forum could do with a mod ? I don’t know many self policing board's on board.ie.Also its very handy to have someone to sticky links and stop the flaming muppets that star trek/stargate/star wars fans seem to attract

When a new forum is created how is a mod normely chosen?
Does everyone vote or does a admin just apoint a MOD?

I would be interested but i would say that would want a older member of boards to be a MOD, Pitty

90% of the decision seems to be down to the admins, threads like this are handy for raising their awareness of potential mods... possibly
