upgrade from 98-2k!

    Hi guys,
    I just upgraded a mates PC from 98 to 2k. The install ran fine and it booted up fine afterwards.

    But.....(and theres always a but!) the system will not recognise the modem,obviously not Plug and Play.

    I did try and install the drivers using search for best driver but it turned up nothing.

    I even tried to force install standard 56k V90 drivers,which it is,to no effect.

    The device manager is reading it as a "PCI Device"!

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
