Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Anyone have any notion where one might acquire a ticket to these swashbuckling icons of no particular age? I left it too late to get one through those ticketmaster leaches... but if desperation and delusion are anything to go by: i'll still get one (with a little help from my friends?)

    wait until ten to nine outside the gig and the touts will by that stage be desperate, and you can spend more on booze!

    if you went to a gig, would you be pretty much be certain to get a ticket off one of those tout fellows? am new to the culture... or the western world at that, and quite curious as to the workings of their seedy underworld.

    Franz Ferdinand are very much in demand, you'd be hard pressed to find tickets available (so you've done well :)).

    There should be touts on night that may have sprung on some unexpecting victims, but they'll charge you way above face value.

    Well i'm surprised at the level of interest for the FF tickets...
    Dont know a fair way to sell them -
    I guess take this off the board and mail me at *snip* and make me an offer for them...
